IT-FLEX C1 & ULTRA-FRESH

 

Quality & Safety in terms of healthcare and of building’s indoor environments are becoming more and more important to ensure the highest life-standards.
Evocell & Mobius have recently introduced an anti-microbial additive into their IT-FLEX C1 product range, which will further improve the current high resistance of the insulation itself to the proliferation of micro-organism, thus prolonging its duration.
Microbes, bacteria, and moulds can cause a range of adverse effects, some are immediately apparent such as unpleasant odours or a visible deterioration to the surface of the material they are in contact with but others can pose an unseen risk to people and the environment.
The use of ULTRA-FRESH KW-100* anti-microbial additive in IT-FLEX C1 pipes and sheets formulas, grants an everlasting protection of the insulation material and a higher quality of the indoor air.

The introduction of this additive to IT-FLEX C1’s formulation does not in any way affect the excellent technical properties of our products, which include:

• Outstanding thermal efficiency;
• Low thermal conductivity [λ];
• High resistance to water vapour diffusion [μ];
• Top fire reaction classification.
